New Features of ORBIT DLC
• Orbital Station
Construct a network of connectors and workshops to house your astronauts. Balance their different module requirements while keeping their optimal working temperatures in mind.
• Technology Nexus
Send astronauts to your station and apply new technologies to increase your productivity, implement alternative production chains and strengthen your fleet. The Technology Nexus offers more than fifty technologies to discover.
• New Building
Construct Training Centers to prepare biologists, physicists and engineers to be sent to your Orbital Station.
• New Character
Prepare to meet A.D.A.M.’s physical representation on your station.
• New Achievements
Several Orbit-related achievements have been added.
Free New Features (for everyone)
• Steam
Achievements for Steam players are now available to show your game progress in your Steam profile, too.
• Geo-Engineering
Enables you to change existing Sector Traits for a cost.
• New Sector Traits
Obtainable for both new and older corporations.
• Ornaments
Trees will now regrow in places where buildings were demolished or relocated.
Interface Changes
ORBIT DLC
• The new "Orbital Station" sector is now on the Strategic Map.
• Added the Technology Nexus including several new icons.
• The button to access the Technology Nexus was placed right next to the Stock Market button.
• Expertise is now shown in the upper global bar.
• Station Expansion Kits are now shown in the global bar when the Orbital Station is the currently loaded Sector.
Free modifications for everyone
• The Geo-Engineering feature can now be accessed via a button next to the minimap.
• The Corporation Profile now shows any industry dominance you have achieved.
• Gameplay settings now include an option to increase the maximum camera distance.
• The Stock Market button is now orange when the menu is active.
Balancing Changes (for everyone)
• The Council
The bribe distribution now penalizes the winner of the last voting period.
• Settings
The maximum camera distance was increased. This needs to be enabled in gameplay settings before taking effect.
• Transfer Routes
Audio notifications about insufficient transfer routes occur less frequently.
Improvements & Fixes (for everyone)
• Fixed a bug that caused command vehicles to drop outside the map
• Logistics are now properly affected by Sector Traits
• Paused buildings now have an appropriate production infotip
• The move mode icon will now be greyed out when disabled
• At auctions the Transaction Taxes tooltip now shows the correct value (15% instead of 14%)
• A wrong corporation name is now spelled correctly
• Superalloys are now listed under Arctic Goods on the Global Market
• Several improvements and fixes of the localization
