Oooh, good question! I think this is actually what make our company tick and if it does well in the future, a lot of it will come to be because of how it's structured. Counting me, there are 3 Americans working on this game, maybe one more in a bit, one Canadian, the rest are in the studio in Chongqing (art, some design, lots of programming). So a very international staff, especially for such a small studio. And it shows up in the game, doesn't it? From the way the menu works to how the characters look, we've been trying to find the middle ground where both audiences from the West and East will like (or best case scenario, feel indifferent to). My main advantage is that I have been to a lot of places and I'm multi-cultural myself, being a Chinese American, so I bring to the table a different perspective on the ethos and pathos of the game, and that's what you're feeling. I often have to be in the Chongqing studio to direct stuff, and the pollution there is tough, but it's fun. I plan to shoot a vid from the studio before the KS ends.
