--- Duke Nukem Uncensored V1.2 ---

--- Why I made this mod ---
I did this mod to uncensor the obviously censored DNF.
Obvious censorship? "Duke Nukem Uncensored"? You thought the game was uncut everywhere?
Technically, yes. But think about it:
They kidnap the babes, forcefully impregnate them --- AND THEN THEY START HANDING OUT G-STRINGS???
Something seems off there, ridiculous even. The concept renders of these babes showed full nudity, why not the game?
My guess is: It's the typical pre-release self-censorship.
That's right, in a game where dismembered limbs are flying everywhere all the time, they got cold feet about nudity.
The babes even burst into pieces, torsos and heads flying around, but fear not, for the remaining lower half still has its panties on.
American morality again I guess.
--- What this mod does ---
This Texmod removes the G-Strings from Duke Nukem Forever's kidnapped Babes first seen on the level "The Hive" and increases their texture detail.
It also changes some of the pictures and posters, mainly having effect in the first level, "Duke Lives", just for fun.
It has NO effect on any other babe (e.g. in the strip club) as of now, because without a method to remove the nipple pasties, removing the panties seems weird.
I'll probably do this in another Mod some time later - it just didn't seem as necessary as removing obvious censorship.
--- CHANGES IN V1.2 ---
- Removed the useless Symbol that had to show you ALL THE TIME that you were crouching. Thanks, but I know.
- Added an optional Mod that gives the abducted babes more fleshy skin tone. Sadly, they only look healthier - they're still "fucked" as Duke puts it...
- Added an optional Mod that removes all crosshairs from the game
- Decreased the file size of the original mod
--- How to make Steam accept Texmod ---
Until someone figures out how to affect the game files directly, we will have to use .tpf files.
Here's How:
1. If you haven't already, download the program "TexMod"
2. Go to your Duke Nukem installation directory and in the /System folder there
3. Rename your "DukeForever.exe" to something else, like "DNF.exe". Keep the .exe filetype
4. Copy the "Texmod.exe" in that directory and name it "DukeForever.exe"
5. When you now start DNF via Steam, you will start up TexMod instead
--- How to use TexMod ---
1. Make sure you have "Package Mode" selected in Texmod
2. Click "Target Application" and browse to your Duke /System folder again, select your renamed "DNF.exe" there
3. Click the folder and "Browse..." and select the "DNFUncensoredV1.2tpf"
(OPTIONAL MODS:, Place the Shaved and Fleshy mods ABOVE "DNFUncensoredV1.2" in "Select Packages" list (below won't work))
4. Click run, kick ass and chew bubble gum

On a side note: It seems to be common practice especially with nude patches that they spread on the web anonymously.
While I can't prevent that, I can at least politely ask that you redistribute this mod always with this readme.
