She can:

Receives hair cut from barber
Repairs your equipments
Develops her attributes and skills by use
Develops her skills by consuming skill books.
Develops her intelligence by consuming destoryed books.
Hires her own bodyguard
Goes on a trade tour to sell the items you gave her, and buy ammo, food or medicine back
Gains experiences for you.
