1.什么情况下会被VAC BAN？被BAN后是什么后果？
首先一点：
摘自VAC说明页面。The VAC system is automated - contacting Steam Support to report cheaters is not necessary, nor will Steam Support act on any information provided.
VAC系统是全自动的。联络STEAM技术支持举报作弊玩家完全没有必要，提供作弊的证据也是没有必要的。
换句话说，VAC自动BAN人，完全无人工干预，举报的话steam也会无视掉。
Any third-party modification to a game designed to give one player an advantage over another is classified as a cheat or hack and will trigger a VAC ban. This includes modifications to a game's core executable files and dynamic link libraries.
任何给予玩家在对战时更大优势的第三方修改器都将触发VAC，导致游戏被BAN。这包括修改核心exe文件和DLL文件的修改器。
下面是不会导致vac ban的
The following will not trigger a VAC ban:
* Using chat programs like X-Fire 使用像X-FIRE这样的语音聊天软件
* Playing multi-player mods which do not modify core .EXE and .DLL files 使用不会修改核心exe文件和dll文件的多人游戏mods
* System hardware configurations 调整系统硬件
* Updated system drivers, such as video card drivers 更新系统驱动，比如显卡驱动
* Using custom skins, sounds or maps 使用自制皮肤，声音或者地图
VAC BAN后呢？
你的steam账户设置里的vac状态会显示部分不可用，方框里面会有被ban的游戏名称。
当此游戏被ban后，所有以该游戏引擎制作的游戏都会被ban
比如，如果你玩CS的时候被VAC BAN了，DOD ,HALF LIFE 等以HL引擎为基础的游戏都会ban，就是说，在HL引擎被ban的情况下，进入任何开启了VAC反作弊的基于HL引擎制作的游戏的服务器你都无法进入。
能不能解BAN呢？
All VAC bans are permanent - Valve has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and will not lift VAC bans under any circumstances.
所有的VAC BAN都是永久性的。Valve对作弊绝不姑息，而且在任何情况下都不会解ban。
那么，登陆steam的时候提示账户被disable了是怎么回事？
Why would a Steam account be disabled?
Check the contact e-mail address for your Steam account to see if Steam Support has contacted you regarding the reason your account was disabled - accounts may be temporarily disabled pending verification of purchase information or account ownership.
查看你在注册steam账号时注册的邮箱，看看steam技术支持小组有没有对你的账户被disable的原因作出解释。账户可能会在验证购买信息或者物主身份期间被暂时禁止登陆。
Steam Support does not automatically contact the owners of disabled accounts in most circumstances.
在大多数情况下，steam技术支持小组不会主动联系账户所有者。
下列英文部分可能会导致账户被禁。
鉴于篇幅问题，我挑选出了针对中国玩家最可能发生的情况翻译，具体见英文。
1.使用黑卡买游戏。
2.接受使用黑卡购买的礼物；或者曾经赠送礼物给你的账户使用了黑卡。（可能翻译不够准确，请各位修正。）
3.与其他人共享账号。
4.使用账号发布欺骗或者钓鱼信息。

Piracy or Hacking
This includes using an unauthorized ("hacked") Steam client to access Steam, attempting to register fake CD Keys or attempting to register a CD Key which has been published on the internet.

Payment Fraud
Any fraudulent credit card use, credit card chargebacks, or Paypal chargebacks (regardless of when the transaction occurred).

Redeeming Fraudulent Gifts
Never accept a gift from an unknown user. Any accounts tied to a redeemed gift from a fraudulent source may be disabled.

Hijacking or Sharing Accounts
Do not use Steam accounts which you did not create.

Account " hishing" and Deliberately Deceptive Activity
This includes contacting other users outside of Steam or over the Friends network under a misleading screen name or e-mail address (i.e. "Steam Admin", "VAC Administrator", "You Won Free Game Gift") and requesting password or account information.

Buying, Selling, or Trading Accounts
Accounts which have been bought, sold or traded will be disabled. This includes any other accounts in your possession at the time of the sale or trade, regardless of whether those accounts were also sold or not.

Violating Steam's Subscriber Agreement or Rules of Online Conduct
