Building Constitution:
(Every member must follow these steps for standardization of the map)
1. You are free to build what you wish as long as it follows the constitution, however a Councillor cannot change any other map revisions without prior permission from the other City Councillors, this may include alteration of roads and buildings or changing the design of the original revision. You must not build in a protected area these will be noted within this post, the Readme and on the game map.
2. A Councillor cannot use any mods or items from expansions to make their revision of the map, this makes the map available to all. (The 'Visitor Magnet Mod' may be used in later versions to attract CiMs to all areas of the map.)
3. A Councillor cannot add any major buildings unless authorized by the other Councillors. These may include government based buildings, airports highways or transportation buildings unless your making a 'transport hub' (which would be a group of bus and metro stations but no network set up so users can build their own transport networks.) Development of such buildings can be built upon agreement by the other City Councillors and a representative(s) of the community can then go on to build them.
4. Every Councillor's revision has to ensure it follows this constitution, any edits which break from it might mean your revision is modified or not included in the next version of the map.
5. A Councillor must respect other Councillor's decisions on building restrictions, these may include green belt land, future building space and/or airport owned land. (these will be listed in this post, the Readme file and sometimes on the game map)
6. A Councillor's revision must be detailed to a certain standard, which may include but isn't limited to; lighting and roadsigns, tree planting, benches, open spaces for tramway building and parking spaces. Feel free to add map markers to identity areas and name major roads with an appropriate road name.
7. Councillors are inclined to make unique areas such as towns and villages, their own homes, tourist landmarks etc. Landscaping is acceptable as long as you don't edit too much of the map as others may want different heights of land to build upon, mountains should be a reasonable height, water/ocean is only allowed around the edges of the map. Rivers (thin stretches of water) may be placed running though the map.
8. Each Councillor should add their CiMx username onto the Map description credits to show you have contributed to the map.
9. There is no limit to how many times a Councillor may add revisions onto the map, as long as the Councillor passes on the map to the next in the queue within a reasonable amount of time. (If you think your revision will take along time to construct you should either plan to make sure the map is finished in time or consider making a smaller revision.)
10. Each Councillor should post screenshots of any major revisions they make to show what they added to the map and why. This will also help others to see what you have changed and if they want to build on from it.
11. A Councillor must not share their file download link or map version with anybody else, apart from those disclosed in your first PM.
12. As a Councillor you must follow the CiMx guidelines and not add anything into the map which could offend or cause distress to anybody either playing or editing the map.
