转一个nogripracing上的shift2解决延迟的方法

用shift1的sharptire mod里面的dinput8.dll 文件，拷到shift2主目录底下就可以了，延迟几乎没有，但是方向盘可能会有一点抖动，跟在shift1里一样

经测试效果很不错，开m3 e30可以很暴力很over{:2_31:}
我用的是sharp tire 5.03的dinput8.dll，其他文件不需要。

还有一个就是在controllerdefault文件夹底下把你的控制器文件用记事本打开，改DampeningEnabled的值为0。

There could be a solution for the input lag issue. At least it improves things a lot with me.

Get the Sharp mod from Juls, copy and paste controller default folder in your game directory. It's actually the same as Shift1 (as far as I know, to confirm). Copy and paste dinput8.dll too.

I have solution for pads (input lag). You have to edit DampeningEnabled="1" string to "0" in vehicleset_pc_custom_pad.xml and reselect controller scheme in game (to custom pad of course). Now setup deadzones and sensitivity and you are good to gono more input lags, tested by me on ps2 dualshock pad

[For me:
I prefer FFB like High setting in GTR2 with DFGT or G25
And default FFB of SHIFT 2 is quite weird for me, but still I can see the different of FFB between FWD, RWD and AWD~]

For Logitech DFGT (May be for all wheels, need someone test for me)

The best method I have got~
1.Download Juls' little steering fix

Here is a very minimal mod which makes tyres less floaty, without being intrusive. AI seems to cope very well with it, and I have good driving sensations with it. It does not change grip levels or anything important, just make the tyres react quicker to steering movements.

Extract the two .bff files from this archive, and place them in Pakfiles folder in your shift install. Backup your two original files before.

2. In logitech profiler, use default wheel settings, uncheck "allow game to change settings".
Shift 2 uses friction and damper it is intended by the devs, it has to be enabled in the profiler if you want at least to feel what FFB is supposed to be.

It seems some fanatec users can't disable separetely friction/damper and therefore they have the full FFB as it was meant to be, while most logitech users miss some effects as they have disabled friction/damper in profiler.





3.*optional* You can set the Force feedback effect level in "ControllerDefaults", change the line
<_cForceSettings Level="Full" Gain="1.000000">
to
<_cForceSettings Level="XXXX" Gain="1.000000">
There are few level, seem same as GTR2
Full , High , Medium , Low

Full is default for all controller profile, and I've only tested "high", which remove some vibration.....(Same as GTR2)





4. Set the in-game Controller option as you like, but Juls said 360 for in-game steering lock is the best, and I agree with that~




5. Try it~

It is excellent for me, now SHIFT2 is better than FM3 but still not enough to beat GT5 or better PC Sim Racing~
